Poster Collaboration & 50th Anniversary Celebration

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Women in Engineering at Purdue University, I was fortunate enough to be part of this unique collaboration between college leadership and fine artist photographer, Paul Lange. In his "Big Blooms: Orchids," collection, Paul Lange celebrates trailblazers and visionaries, honoring women in STEM, showcasing large-scale flower photographs of unusual orchids. Two print pieces were purchased from Paul and revealed on March 23, 2019 during the 50th Anniversary Celebration dinner. I worked with Beth Holloway, Paul Lange and university archives to create a custom poster for the event.

The poster features "Amelia" (2011) and "Lillian (2019) prints, along with historical portraits, photography, and handwritten notes that both Amelia Earhart and Lillian Gilbreth wrote to each other while at Purdue University.

Deliverables also included custom programs and corresponding event signage.
